The printer must have the following: One expansion slot available At least 32 MB of memory Additional memory or hard drive features can increase performance or capabilities for copy, fax scan or print functions depending on the number of pages, page complexity and operations selected (for example, collate or high resolution scan). An active analog telephone line or network access to a fax server is required for the fax function. A customer provided table MFP shelf feature or MFP furniture feature is required. Furniture may restrict or preclude some input or output options due to physical limitations. The scanner/ADF unit and a MarkNet N2501e 10/100BaseTX Ethernet network print server card are included in the M25 Option. The print server also contains an integrated fax modem and SCSI connection for scanner communications. The print server installs in the printer and uses one expansion slot. Lexmark Document Distributor Client Applications Print N Send Driver for Document Distributor allows users to print to the Document Server from Microsoft Windows applications. The Print N Send Driver converts the file format to a TIFF image and then sends the image to the document server. This driver can also provide the ability for the Lexmark Document Server to prompt the user for more information (fax number, account number, email address) that is necessary to complete the process. The driver, once installed by the administrator, points to a specific script located on the Document Server. The MFP Option is not necessary to use this driver. Select N Send for Document Distributor allows customers to right-click on a file within Microsoft Windows Explorer to execute a script on a Lexmark Document Server. This utility can also provide the ability for the Lexmark Document Server to prompt the user for more information (fax number, account number, email address) necessary to complete the process. This utility allows the user to choose the Document Server and the script on the fly and is not pre-defined like the Print N Send Driver for Document Distributor. The MFP Option is not necessary to use this utility. FastMap for Document Distributor is a utility to create zones on
your document for reading text, check boxes, and bar codes. This
utility is only applicable when using either the Lexmark OCR Module for
LDD or the Lexmark Bar Code Module for LDD. Physical Specifications Dimensions M25 MFP Recommended Clearances M25 MFP M25:
